Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist physician for ASAP start. Schedule includes clinic Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, and Friday 7:30am-noon with 24-hour call. The role includes in-clinic and 24-hour call obstetric coverage.

Procedures include C-sections, circumcisions, tubal ligations, D&C and NSTs; EMR is EPIC/Dragon. BLS, ACLS and PALS are required along with board certification and an active license.

Qualifications

• Board certified in obstetrics/gynecology and licensed to practice.
• Active state license or IMLC licensure required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics hospitalist coverage per schedule: clinic and 24-hour call.
• Perform obstetric procedures including C-sections, circumcisions and tubal ligations.
• Maintain EMR documentation in EPIC/Dragon and coordinate care.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Clinic: Monday-Thursday 730am-430pm, Friday 730am-noon, 24-hr call
• Practice Setting: In clinic and 24 hr call
• Types of Cases: Suction dilation and curettage (D&C), Laparoscopy, Read Obstetrical non-stress test (NST), Caesareans, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC/Dragon
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Board certified and active state license or interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
