Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens coverage as they fill a current need. The schedule includes clinic hours Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-noon with a 24-hour call, and a setting of in-clinic work with on-call duties.

The candidate must be board certified (or eligible) in OB/GYN, hold an active license (or IMLC), and have BLS/ACLS/PALS. EPIC/Dragon proficiency is preferred to support patient care, documentation, and coordination.

Qualifications

• Board certified in obstetrics/gynecology or equivalent.
• Active medical license in the state or IMLC eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC/Dragon EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics hospitalist coverage per schedule: clinic and 24-hr call.
• Manage D&C, C-sections, circumcisions, tubal ligations as applicable.
• Coordinate with hospital teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity

• Schedule: Clinic: Monday- Thursday 730am-430pm, Friday 730am-noon, 24-hr call
• Practice Setting: In clinic and 24 hr call
• Types of Cases: Suction dilation and curettage (D&C), Laparoscopy, Read Obstetrical non-stress test (NST), Caesareans, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC/Dragon
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Board certified and active state license or interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
