Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist for a night shift role with four weekend shifts per month. You will prepare the surgical suite, support obstetric procedures, and help ensure a safe, compassionate birth experience for families.

You will work with a collaborative team, receive mentorship, and have access to growth opportunities within obstetric surgery. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Certificate required.
• (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly.
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
