Job summary

Cache Valley Hospital is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist for night shifts to support obstetric procedures and newborn care. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during surgeries, and ensure sterile, safe patient care with a collaborative team committed to high standards.

The role emphasizes CST certification, BLS and neonatal resuscitation competencies, and on-call support with growth opportunities within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
