Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking an Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative obstetric and surgical team. You’ll prepare the sterile field, support the team during procedures, and help ensure safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns.

We offer training, mentorship, and on-call support, with clear pathways for growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree, or Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
  • Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
  • Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
  • Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
  • Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

Job Summary And Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
  • Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
  • Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures

What qualifications you will need:
