Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with 7pm–7am shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care, plan, implement and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes across patient populations. Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If Associate Degree is the highest, must graduate with a Bachelor’s in Nursing within five years of start date (effective Sept 1, 2021).
• RN Diploma Nurses are grandfathered OR if start date is prior to Sept 1, 2021.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification by American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation.
• NIHSS Stroke Scale certification, required.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
