Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for the Observation Unit. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following established care plans and maintaining safety across patient populations.

The role requires Maryland CNA license, BLS, and successful CNA program completion. Employment includes 36 hours per week, night shifts, and weekend rotations with benefits and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA license required and on Maryland Registry.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plans established by the RN and report changes.
• Maintain safety and proper use of equipment.
• Participate in department and organizational education programs.
• Cross-train in the USC role if needed.
