Job summary

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS within 30 days, RN license upon hire.
• Education: Nursing Diploma, Work Experience: RN > 1 year.
• Unit is NT6 Observation with fast-paced, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment upon admission and develops a plan of care per unit standards.
• Implements plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures; updates as needed.
• Maintains documentation and ensures safety by reporting hazards and incidents.
• Communicates with team and participates in staff meetings and learning.
• Monitors IV sites, starts new IVs per policy; ensures chart audits are passed.
