Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis, a Tenet Healthcare facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care with supervision of staff and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. The role supports high-quality, safe nursing care and efficient resource management.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within specified timelines, CPI and PALS where applicable, and a Bachelor’s or better in nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure/Certification: RN with current applicable state licensure/permit.
• BLS - Certification required upon hire for all nursing positions.
• ACLS - Required within 3 months of hire for multiple departments as specified.
• CPI - Required within 3 months for specified RNs.
• PALS – Required within 3 months for certain Emergency Dept. RNs.
• NRP – Required within 3 months for L&D, Mother/Baby and NICU RNs.
• Preferred: Bachelors or Masters in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care for assigned patients using a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Develops and updates care plans for newly admitted patients.
• Delivers nursing interventions aligned with the medical plan of care.
• Performs procedures in the specialty service area.
• Documents nursing care accurately in patient records.
• Performs related duties as required.
