• Or 18+ months experience as an MA may be considered in lieu of completed MA program
• Or 1+ year as a Clinical Support Representative at Penn Medicine may be considered in lieu of MA program completion

Aufgaben

• Rooms patients promptly and uses EMR to alert provider
• Notes corrections in EMR and documents medication refills
• Obtains vitals and prepares chart for visit
• Assists with minor procedures and maintains sterile field
• Performs phlebotomy and other specimen collection tasks
• Performs EKGs and other outpatient screening tests
• Responds to emergencies and ensures patient safety
• Maintains patient care areas and infection control practices
• Supports care coordination and documentation in EMR
