Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and the practice manager in delivering high-quality patient care at the Radnor site in Pennsylvania. The MA will perform patient preparation, charting in EMR, and assist with procedures, while supporting telephonic care and care coordination for optimal outcomes.

The role requires an MA certification within 90 days of hire or equivalent experience and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Equivalent experience considered if MA program not completed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare chart for visit using EMR.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling per guidelines.
• Assist with minor procedures and patient transport as needed.
• Provide telephonic care and care coordination with other services.
