Job summary

Temple Faculty Practice Plan is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our OBGYN clinic in Philadelphia. The MA will provide basic patient care and support physicians under supervision, performing clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or MA program graduate, plus at least one year of outpatient/ambulatory MA experience and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program required.
• 1 year experience as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care and performs job-specific tasks under direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider.
• Responsibilities include clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas.
