Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for the OB-GYN Radnor Infertility practice in Radnor, PA. The MA will support physicians, prep patients, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and assist in minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include patient care, care coordination, and accurate EMR documentation while maintaining infection control and safety standards. CMA/RMA certification within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA or RMA certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of a Penn Medicine approved MA program (or higher) or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year related healthcare experience may be considered in lieu of MA program completion.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients promptly and prepares for exams, reviewing history and allergies.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed and records results in EMR.
• Conducts EKGs and other outpatient screening tests as ordered.
• Assists with minor procedures, maintains sterile field, and supports patient comfort and safety.
• Maintains patient care areas, stocks supplies, and adheres to infection control policies.
