VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in clinical duties, patient flow, and documentation. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with visits, and maintain accurate records in the EHR and PMS.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to commute to satellite locations as needed. Qualified candidates will have a Medical Assistant program credential and a high school diploma or GED, with English proficiency and basic computer skills.

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask and organize workflows efficiently.
• Basic proficiency in computer use and office software.
• Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient to room.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and room readiness.
• Supports patient visits with accurate information in EHR.
• Documents allergies and updates medication lists in EHR.
• Performs duties within scope of practice and safety guidelines.
• Assists with scheduling and referrals in PMS/EHR.
• Handles phone calls and messages and directs as needed.
• Provides scribing services and supports transition of care.
