Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams across multiple locations. You will prepare exam rooms, escort patients, document in the EHR, and help manage medications and referrals, ensuring smooth patient flow and quality care.

The role requires strong communication in English, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Training is provided, with opportunities to work across satellite offices.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 0-1 year of related work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, PA, or NP with patient flow and clerical duties.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist during visits.
• Document patient information in EHR and update medication lists.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals in PMS/EHR.
