The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in a medical office or billing, strong keyboard skills, and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or billing preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; accurate typing skills.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and communicate professionally in person or by phone.
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and schedule appointments per protocols.
• Register patients, verify insurance, collect copays, and manage pre-authorizations.
• Process referrals, fax handling, and provide clerical support to providers.
