Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in the Dallas area. You will serve as the scientific resource to OLs, PHDMs, and providers, executing medical strategy and presenting data to improve patient outcomes.

This field-based role reports to the MSL Field Director. Ideal candidates have advanced degrees with Medical Affairs experience and a track record in cardiometabolic research, investigator engagement, and data presentation while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with Medical Affairs experience
• Bachelor’s degree with Medical Affairs experience

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites in support of the obesity pipeline
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value, outcomes, and economic data
• Lead and support congress activities and training for speakers
• Maintain and improve clinical/scientific acumen with current data and trends
• Provide and present field observations to inform Amgen strategies

Education

Doctorate degree

Masters degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelor's degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
