Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in the U.S. Territory (East Dallas Metro with eastern extension). You will be the primary scientific resource to OLs and PHDMs, executing Amgen’s Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.

You will engage investigators, communicate clinical and economic data, support sponsored research, and contribute to congress activities while maintaining scientific acumen and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or Master’s with 3 years Medical Affairs or Bachelor’s with 5 years Medical Affairs
• 1+ years Medical Affairs experience; Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D./D.O. or other doctorates considered
• 4+ years in a medically related field including clinical practice, clinical/research experience
• 2+ years in an MSL role in biotech/pharma; current experience in Scientific Affairs
• Cardiometabolic/Obesity expertise
• Experience with designated territory

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders, Population Health Decision Makers and other healthcare providers
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy to improve patient outcomes
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites in support of the obesity pipeline
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value and economic data to stakeholders
• Lead and support congress activities and speaker training as needed
• Maintain and improve clinical/scientific acumen with current data and trends
