Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Obesity and Related Conditions in the United States. You will be the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders, PHDMs, and healthcare providers, executing medical strategy under MSL leadership to drive patient outcomes.

The role requires advanced medical qualifications and experience in Medical Affairs, with strong communication and collaboration to engage external stakeholders and support sponsored or non-sponsored studies as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor's with Medical Affairs experience as required.
• Experience in Medical Affairs within biotech/pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with KOLs and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity and related conditions pipeline.
• Communicate data of clinical value to PHDMs and institutions.
• Lead or support congress activities and speaker training as needed.
