Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Obesity and Related Conditions) for the Fort Worth, TX area. This field-based role supports scientific exchange with key opinion leaders, investigators, and healthcare professionals to advance the obesity pipeline and deliver balanced clinical data.

The position requires advanced medical affairs experience (doctorate or equivalent) and strong communication skills, with a focus on cardiometabolic conditions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s with required MA experience as stated.
• Experience in medical affairs or scientific liaison roles.
• Cardiometabolic/obesity conditions knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in US territory coverage (Fort Worth area) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers to discuss scientific data.
• Communicate clinical and economic data to investigators and sites.
• Lead or participate on MSL projects and congress activities as delegated.
• Mentor other MSLs and provide training as designated by leadership.
• Maintain compliance with MSL standards and complete admin tasks.
