Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Obesity and Related Conditions to serve as the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders, PHDMs, and healthcare providers. You will execute medical strategy and communicate data within a defined US territory including Dallas and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes peer-to-peer scientific exchange, field leadership, and collaboration with internal teams, with remote work arrangements where possible to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with 3–5 years Medical Affairs experience or Bachelor’s with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Pharmacist/medical degrees preferred; Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D. or D.O. with related experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Engage with investigators and PHDMs to communicate scientific data of clinical value.
