Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in Orlando, FL. You will act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to key opinion leaders and healthcare providers, executing Amgen medical strategies with a focus on obesity-related conditions.

This field-based role reports to the Obesity and Related Conditions MSL Field Director. The role requires advanced degrees with relevant Medical Affairs experience; preferred candidates include those with Ph.D., M.D., or

Qualifications

Doctorate degree required.
Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. preferred; related experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other HCPs to support Amgen Medical function and product strategy.
Execute scientific exchanges to provide focused and balanced information in line with MSL compliance standards.
Lead or participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies and tactics as directed by leadership.
Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline and communicate clinical data to stakeholders.
Lead congress activities and support speaker training when requested.
Maintain regulatory and compliance training (e.g., Veeva CRM, expense reports).
Collaborate across Amgen field roles to create a coordinated One Amgen experience.
Manage external relationships and communicate data contributing to patient outcomes.
