Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions covering MS/AR and surrounding areas. The role is field-based within the U.S. Medical team and reports to an MSL Field Director.

You will be the primary scientific resource for OLs and PHDMs, executing medical strategy and providing balanced data. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are integral. Qualifications include a Doctorate or equivalent, 3+ years Medical Affairs with a Master’s, or 5+ years with a

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent clinical/medical qualifications.
• Masters with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience or Bachelor’s with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and healthcare providers.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline.
• Communicate data of clinical value, outcomes and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead and participate in congress activities; provide speaker training updates.
• Travel within assigned territory to establish relationships and gather insights.
