Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support obstetrical operations in the Labor and Delivery unit. The role requires knowledge of the procedure, anticipation of the surgeon’s needs, and maintenance of a sterile field to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure, under the direction of a registered nurse.

Ideal candidates will have graduated from a Surgical Technologist program with OR experience and a background in direct patient

Competenze

• Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program.
• 1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist.
• 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program Required or
• 1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist Required or
• 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Preferred
