Job summary

Endeavor Health’s OB Unit in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts on a full-time basis. The role requires Labor and Delivery experience, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR certification.

A sign-on bonus of 25,000 USD is offered, with additional compensation for call and on-call requirements. Responsibilities include nursing process delivery, assessing patients, supervising staff, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
CPR certification by American Heart Association.
ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.
Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
Communicates effectively and can supervise nursing staff.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
Maintains competency aligned with current standards of practice.
Interacts with peers to support professional development.
Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice.
Incorporates evidence-based practice into patient care.
Ensure safety for patients and staff.
Supervise and guide nursing staff.
Complete documentation thoroughly and timely.
Perform related duties as assigned.
