Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit in Chicago, IL. This full-time night shift role includes a $25,000 sign-on bonus and a requirement to float within the Birth Center as needed.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, maintaining current practice standards, and mentoring peers while ensuring patient safety and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery or nurseries preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain competency aligned with current standards.
• Guide and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure safe patient care and timely documentation.
• Support professional development of peers and continuous improvement.
