Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit on the night shift at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork with physicians and nurses, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

The position offers full-time hours (36 per week) with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts, weekend rotations, and a $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates with 18 months L&D experience. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license is required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program is required; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Labor and Delivery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient and family.
• Communicates plan of care to patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Educates patient and family, adapting to learning needs and cultural background.
• Contributes to professional development of peers and supports research/quality initiatives.
