Endocrine News is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery OB Unit in Chicago, IL. This full-time night shift position (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) requires every-other weekend and rotating holidays, with a call requirement and float within the Family Birth Center.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing license.
• Two years Labor and Delivery/Nursery Level II experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain competency with current standards of practice.
• Promote safety and prevent injuries for patients and staff.
