Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an RN - Labor and Delivery to join our 36-hour weekly night-shift team. You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, and communicate with patients, families, and the care team.

A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates. Requirements include an Associate's degree or BSN, IL RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing or BSN required.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current CPR certification (AHA).
• Minimum 1 year labor and delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and the care team in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individually teaches patients and families based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in quality improvement to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
