Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an experienced OB RN Director to lead and mentor a team delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. You will guide staffing, quality initiatives, and patient satisfaction, in a non-travel, in-person role at a Michigan location.

The position requires an active Michigan RN license, a nursing degree (ADN required, BSN preferred), BLS-HCP, and leadership experience in Labor and Delivery. Relocation and sign-on incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification (BLS-HCP).
• 4 years of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred).
• 2 years of healthcare leadership experience (preferred).
• Certifications in NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, STABLE (current or within 1 year).
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department, utilizing the nursing process.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and support related initiatives.
• Act as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding patient care, flow, and clinical standards.
• Ensure departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate educational needs for patients in Labor and Delivery.
