Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks an experienced OB RN Director to lead a team delivering high-quality care to mothers and newborns. You will supervise nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to clinical standards in Labor and Delivery.

Key qualifications include an active Michigan RN license, BLS-HCP, and leadership experience; NRP/AWHONN certifications are preferred. The role is on-site with competitive annual compensation.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license and an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• BLS-HCP certification.
• 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (preferred).
• 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare (preferred).
• Certifications in NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, and STABLE (current or within 1 year).
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department, utilizing the nursing process.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and support the implementation of related initiatives.
• Act as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding patient care, flow, and clinical standards.
• Ensure departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate educational needs for patients, specifically in Labor and Delivery.
