Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced OB RN Director in Michigan to lead a dedicated OB team, guiding care for mothers and newborns and ensuring the highest patient satisfaction. This role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and clinical governance in a dynamic labor and delivery setting.

The position offers an 8-hour days schedule, competitive annual compensation, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance up to $5,000 for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license and an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification required.
• 4 years of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred).
• 2 years of healthcare leadership experience (preferred).
• Certifications in NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, and STABLE current or within 1 year.
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee OB patient care using the nursing process.
• Identify issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Lead performance improvement studies and related initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for staff and external contacts on patient care and standards.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, education, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate patient education in Labor and Delivery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
