Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced OB RN Director in Michigan to lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality care for mothers and newborns. You will mentor staff, ensure clinical excellence, and drive patient satisfaction in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing OB patient care, coordinating education, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards, while reporting in-person to the designated location.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• BLS-HCP certification.
• 4 years in Labor and Delivery (preferred).
• 2 years of healthcare leadership (preferred).
• NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, STABLE (current or within 1 year).
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and implement related initiatives.
• Act as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding patient care and standards.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, education, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate educational needs for patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
