Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct, primary nursing care in our obstetrics department. You will coordinate patient care, supervise support staff, and uphold high standards in line with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Expect shift work in a busy maternity setting, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork. Ideal candidates will hold an Ohio RN license, BSN preferred, and current BLS certification; additional ACLS/NRP credentials are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• AHA training in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Act as patient advocate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain current nursing practice and comply with standards and regulations.
• Provide safe, high-quality care and effective communication with patients and families.
• Supervise and support care delivered by licensed staff and aides.
