Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care and coordinate patient care with a multidisciplinary team in Canton, OH. The RN will supervise licensed practical nurses and aides, delegate tasks as appropriate, and ensure timely communication of patient information.

The role requires commitment to safety, quality care and continuous learning. Ideal candidates hold an active Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license and active BLS certification.
• Certification preferred for eligible RNs.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate and communicate care.
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort and satisfaction with the care team.
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice.
• Adhere to standards, ethics, laws, and regulations in nursing practice.
• Collaborate with patient, family and healthcare providers in care planning.
• Provide leadership and contribute to professional development of peers and students.
• Incorporate research findings into practice and review communications timely.
