Job summary

Aultman Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct, primary nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical/ICU setting at Aultman Orrville Hospital. You will coordinate and delegate care based on assessments, supervise LPNs and aides, and ensure safe, high-quality care across pediatric to geriatric populations.

The role requires active RN licensure in Ohio, BSN preferred, and BLS with additional ACLS/PALS certifications as specified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, active RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS training (AHA) required; CPR/RIQ optional where applicable.
• ACLS with RQI and PALS with RQI required for department qualifications.
• NIHSS certification plus 1 stroke CEU annually (total 4 stroke CEUs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, primary nursing care.
• Delegate and coordinate patient care.
• Supervise LPNs, PCAs, and other staff as applicable.
• Ensure safe, effective delivery of nursing care.
• Document and communicate patient information promptly.
