Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN experience, with a passion for education and student achievement. Collaboration with faculty and clinical partners is essential.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience with nursing education or teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and evaluate student performance and competency.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress and grade reports.
• Maintain current knowledge within the nursing specialty and collaborate with faculty and partners.
