Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will teach across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings with a focus on student achievement.

The ideal candidate is an RN with MSN or higher, strong communication skills, and a passion for nursing education, expected to collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student development.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses being taught.
• Evidence of nursing specialty knowledge contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a supportive learning environment and evaluate student performance.
• Maintain timely progress and grade reports and attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration and clinical partners.
