Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. Instructors may teach in classroom, lab, simulation, and/or clinical settings, ensuring student success and professional development.

The ideal candidate is an RN with MSN or higher, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication, committed to student achievement and education excellence across campuses.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught nursing courses and clinical experiences.
• Demonstrated knowledge in a nursing specialty contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and assess student performance.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to students' educational level.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and competency based on program standards.
