Job summary

University Hospitals seeks a Nursing Professional Development Educator to lead education initiatives across nursing and allied staff within the system. Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• Master's Degree for Level 4 NICU, Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum and Antepartum is required/preferred per unit needs.

Responsibilities

• On-boarding and Orientation: develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, conduct, and evaluate onboarding for nursing and students.
• Competency Management: develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, conduct, and evaluate competency programs.
• Continuing Education: create, manage, implement, coordinate, and evaluate educational activities to address practice gaps.
• Professional Role Development: promote professional nurse development and role transition; implement and evaluate related activities.
• Research/EBP/QI: integrate evidence and practice, conduct research, dissemination of findings.
• Change Management: lead or participate in rapid, sustainable change and foster adoption.
• Leadership: demonstrate value of nursing education, ensure regulatory compliance and project planning.
• Professional Growth & Development: pursue ongoing learning, certification maintenance, and professional involvement.
