HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Professional Development Specialty Educator to enhance professional practice and quality patient care across hospitals in the division.

The educator will provide evidence-based educational programs for nursing, inter-professional, and non-licensed staff in the identified specialty. The role requires developing and coordinating competency-based activities, collaborating with the clinical education team, and ensuring staff maintain up-to-date competencies

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred.
• 2+ years of clinical education experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in acute care hospital required.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred.
• Currently licensed as appropriate to education in the state of practice required.
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) required.
• Specialty certification as recognized by the American Nurse Credentialing Center required.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Provides and assists with orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Conducts orientation in a manner that facilitates a positive learning environment.
• Identifies learning needs of the identified specialty staff and develops activities to address deficits.
• Plans educational content delivery that encourages learner engagement.
• Assesses practice gaps and collaborates with the clinical education team to adjust programs.
• Participates in lifelong learning and utilizes the novice-to-expert continuum.
• Monitors practices for compliance and communicates key performance indicators.
