Qualifications

• Role requires working under ANA Scope and Standards of Practice in Nursing Professional Development.
• Experience with educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, change agent, and leader roles.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g. Ohio laws, The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) and professional codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver onboarding and orientation programs for nursing, UAPs, and students.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage competency programs.
• Create, implement, coordinate, and evaluate continuing education activities.
• Lead professional role development and transition initiatives for nurses.
• Integrate research evidence, education, and clinical expertise into programs.
• Oversee data collection and evaluation to forecast needs and guide quality improvement.
• Synthesize evidence to guide program modifications and outcomes.
• Lead or participate in change management and organizational change initiatives.
• Promote leadership, innovation, and professional growth within the department.
• Support quality improvement, EBP, and research dissemination through education.
• Ensure compliance with PHI protection and organizational policies.
