Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors.
• Ability to process and interpret data.
• Ability to multi task while managing a time sensitive workload.

Responsabilités

• Scheduling inpatient and outpatient procedures and/or surgeries to enhance the patient experience.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Collects and reviews patient insurance information, including prior authorizations and referrals, ensuring approvals before scheduled procedures.
• Completes pre-procedure phone calls and confirms appointment times with patients.
• Provides patients with all necessary pre-operative instructions.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and complies with applicable regulations.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
