Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole preferred.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Experience with medical records and billing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls courteously and professionally.
• Register patients and schedule appointments via Epic.
• Verify insurance eligibility using PASSPORT.
• Maintain paper and electronic medical records.
• Collect, process, and reconcile co-pays.
• Process charges and daily receipts; identify billing errors.
• Assist providers with correspondence.
• Attend planned care team meetings.
