Job summary

The OB/GYN Registered Nurse role at Cambridge Health Alliance provides quality patient care within the CHA Obstetrics & Gynecology Center, supporting obstetric and gynecologic patients with safety, compassion, and teamwork. The Per Diem On Call schedule is varied (8 or 9 hours) with no fixed weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements for all candidates.

Applicants must hold Massachusetts RN licensure and current BLS certification; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Massachusetts current RN licensure required.
• Certifications: Maintains current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.

Position Overview

The role of the
OB/GYN Registered Nurse
is to provide quality patient care in accordance with the established standards of nursing practice at Cambridge Health Alliance. They demonstrate initiative, robust knowledge, and evidence-based clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. They effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.

• Education/Training: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Licensure: Massachusetts current or conditional RN licensure required
• Certifications: Maintains current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification
