The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, PSR experience, and strong customer service skills. The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work some evenings and satellite locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Able to work 40 hours per week, including evenings.
• Willing to cover satellite locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, direct them to appropriate waiting areas.
• Paging or guiding staff to exam rooms for patients.
• Explain financial requirements, collect copayments.
• Register new and existing patients; activate files.
• Answer and route calls; manage voicemails and messages.
• Route messages from answering service promptly.
• Provide support to patients and medical staff as needed.
• Screen solicitors for relevance to Axia needs.
• Follow HIPAA and infection control guidelines.
