Job summary

Capital Health's RN Outpatient Specialty Practice in Trenton, NJ is seeking a full-time registered nurse to support OB/GYN services in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will perform nursing care, assist physicians with procedures, and ensure clear patient education and follow-up.

The role requires an associates degree in nursing (BSN preferred), an active NJ or PA RN license, and BLS certification, with 1 year of outpatient or urgent-care experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active NJ or PA RN license required; must obtain second out-of-state license within 3 months.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute, urgent care, or outpatient setting.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• Proficient computer skills and excellent customer service are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and treatments for ambulatory patients.
• Assists LIP with procedures, removes sutures, administers injections.
• Triages patient calls and schedules appointments per protocol.
• Educates patients and documents care and test results.
• Maintains patient safety and infection control standards.
