Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a full-time nurse to provide ambulatory care and support to physicians and patients. The role involves performing nursing procedures, education, triage by phone, and supporting patients and families with care plans under the direction of licensed independent practitioners.

The position requires an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), active RN licensure in NJ or PA, and current BLS. Proficiency with computers and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• NJ or PA license based on primary state office location required; must attain second RN license (NJ or PA) within 3 months from date of hire.
• Proficient computer skills and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and treatment modalities appropriate for patients.
• Remains compliant with policies and procedures for best practices.
• Triages patient calls and explains test results under LIP direction.
• administers medications and documents according to protocol.
• Maintains logs of laboratory work, X-rays, and monitoring results.
