Job summary

Capital Health's Bordentown Outpatient Specialty Practice is hiring a full-time Day RN in Gastroenterology. You will perform nursing care and treatment modalities, assist the LIP with procedures, prepare exam rooms and medical records, obtain patient histories, and triage medical phone calls.

Requirements include an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), NJ or PA RN license, one year of experience in an acute, urgent care or outpatient setting, and AHA BLS Healthcare Provider

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• NJ or PA RN license required; second out-of-state RN license within three months if applicable.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care and treatment modalities for ambulatory patients.
• Assist physicians with procedures, remove sutures, cleanse wounds and apply dressings.
• Triage patient calls, obtain histories and document in medical records.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered and document accurately.
• Maintain readiness of exam rooms and coordinate patient education.
