Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Specialty Practice in Bordentown, NJ. The role supports Rheumatology Specialists with procedures, wound care, dressings, and patient education in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Nursing, a valid NJ or PA RN license, and is willing to obtain a second license within three months. Minimum one year of relevant outpatient or urgent care experience is required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• NJ or PA license based on primary state location required; must attain second RN license within three months.
• One year experience in an acute, urgent care or outpatient setting.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care/treatment modalities and assist the physician with procedures.
• Administer medications accurately and safely; document in patient records.
• Triage patient calls, assess status, and schedule according to protocol.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms and medical records for scheduled and non-scheduled visits.
• Call in prescriptions to pharmacies under physician direction.
• Document patient education and ensure patient understanding and compliance.
